She's Only 20

Austin is a pretty girl, and she was about to turn 20. She had an idea for a birthday shoot to celebrate this milestone. I was thinking of an old song called "She's Only Twenty" by Tami Show the whole time we shot.

She brought some balloons and we set up in my studio and got to work.

My favorite shots of the day were the overhead shots. I hadn't tried a boom shot for quite a while, and they came out great.

I controlled the camera with my Microsoft Surface tablet. I wasn't able to set up the Live View mode so I could see the shot on my screen, but I knew my settings were good and I cold review shots as they came in on the PC. I was very happy with the results.
