Lotus Gait at Herman's Hideaway

The Barb Wire Dolls came to town again and I made arrangements to shoot their show at Herman's Hideaway in Denver, CO. There were three opening acts, one of which was Lotus Gait. A fun local band.

One of the things I truly dislike as a photographer are bands that just stand there and sing and play. No moments, no emotion or passion. It is boring to see and to shoot. Well, Lotus Gait was not one of those bands.

Their front line provided some cool moments for me to shoot. Their bassist has long dreads and provided some great visuals and their guitar players both do the rock star thing really well. Overall, a lot of fun to shoot and I hope to do so again.
