I have a love hate relationship with photographing crows. They are usually out too early to get them in good light. They lurk in shadows and I am convinced that they plan to make it hard for me to photograph them.

They suck up light. If I try to shoot them in any form of shadow they just suck up the available light and become black blobs. I have to shoot them out in the open in bright daylight.

Today I went out around noon and tossed out a few extra peanuts for the squirrels. I heard a caw above me and saw a lone crow. He was calling to his buddies, and a few minutes later, I had 5 crows taking turn stealing peanuts. The light was perfect, and I had my chance. My results are below, let me know what you think.
