Broadwinged Hawk

This big, beautiful, badass bird has been hanging out in our yard lately.



Hunting amongst our squirrels and birds. While I have no doubts he eats well, I have yet to see a succesful attack.



There are three images in this series I call "Small Acts Of Bravery" where the squirrels are sitting right there with the hawk.
