Kelsie Kush

I have been trying to establish more connections to the local modeling community here in Fort Collins for over a year. My recent shoot with Galadriel Berg turned a few heads and I have booked a few new models for simple 'getting to know you' shoots. Kelsie Kush is the first of these.
There was no real plan for the shoot other than some headshot and full body type shots in my studio, and then she wanted to try to get something like my shot of Galadriel in a field of Dandelions. We got that shot in the tall grass in front of my home.
This shoot went well enough, but it is an example of the kind of shoot that should have gone better than it did. I should have had more communication up front. The look and style of the model should have been fleshed out more. I should provide some preparation tips for the model on things to consider.
While this was a casual shoot, it was almost too casual. We should have come up with something to take it up a notch. I didn't do my job well enough and it shows in the images. They are good, but they should be great.
