Roger Steen, guitarist for The Tubes. I was inspired to capture a memory of the show.
It's a terrible photo, shot with a crappy cel phone camera. It was the only image worth looking at. I wanted so badly to document the show I was seeing and I had very little ability to do so at the time.
It created a spark. It was my first actual concert photo. The one that started it all with one of my favorite bands, The Tubes. I have gone on to do much better work in this area, but I feel like I need to celebrate the image that changed my path.
