I did a dual shoot of Alyssa and her mother. This was Alyssa's very first photoshoot and I think she did a great job.
Alyssa was self conscious at the beginning of the shoot, as was to be expected, but she warmed up rather quickly. Props worked well to get her past her fear.
As for my learnings from this shoot, I did not do enough to adjust my lighting for her height vs her mom's. There was a good head difference and I got weird shadows on the face in some of the shots. I was able to fix a lot of it in PhotoShop as you can see in the better photos in this set. I included a lot of images I like where you can plainly see upshadow from the nose in a lot of places. I really want to work with her again and focus on getting her right.
