I met Dan when he came in to see the video game, TRON 2.0, that I worked on at Disney Interactive. I was the king of the TRON fans at the time, and I had a lot of fun sharing our game and getting to be a geeky fan boy with the one and only RAM.

I had done a headshot for Cindy Morgan from TRON 2 years earlier, and I managed to convince Dan to sit for me as well. I really wanted to knock it out of the park and deliver some great headshots, but there was one problem, I still sucked at headshots.

I tried, I really tried. I just didn't get it all to come together. My skills were still weak. Dan was patient and kind about the outcome, but other than one image that made him look like a news reporter, none of these really saw the light of day.

I share them here as an example of my lesser works. The problems were many, lighting, focus, direction. I think the fanboy aspect kept me from giving direction, and I just wasn't skilled enough to pull off what I wanted to do. Sorry Dan, maybe we'll try again someday.
